I took on the role of Ana in E.M. Lewis’ You Can See All The Stars for my senior capstone at the University of Portland. I wanted to take part in this play because Ana’s experience with SA is so real and relatable, to the point that it could happen to any college student. And too often, those who are affected by abuse aren’t given the support and justice they deserve, because there is no one out there who will believe them. I felt it was important to use my platform to share my message—believe victims.
